Hello, I’m Ashley and I have been installing and servicing solid fuel stoves for over 15 years. I offer a complete service from modern wood burner installation with flex liners or solid insulated flue systems to Victorian fireplace rebuilding. Services
Surveys
The process often starts with a site survey where I will conduct a visual inspection of the existing fireplace, flue and chimney stack - if present. We will then discuss your requirements so I can advise you what is feasible and the most cost-effective option. All surveys are followed up with a quotation in writing.
Installations
I offer a complete installation service fitting your wood burner, hearth, flue liner, closure plate and chimney. I will work closely with you throughout the installation process to make sure you are satisfied at each step.
Chimney Lining
If you have an old chimney it’s best practice to line it. The liner creates a direct and even channel between the wood burner and the top of the chimney, which means soot and tar have less uneven surfaces to stick to. Lining the chimney also ensures there's no leakage from the chimney during the life of the wood burner.
Chimney Sweeping
It is recommended to have your chimney swept at least once a year, twice if you use it regularly. Your chimney sweep will be completed using the Rod Tech System - the most advanced sweeping system available. All surrounding areas are covered by dustsheets, and the utmost care taken to minimise dust.
Servicing
At the end of each heating season, as well having your chimney swept, your stove should undergo an annual service which will include stripping, inspecting and cleaning the appliance.
